A Day In Runaway Bay

July 1, 2025, When I first found myself wandering around Runaway Bay, TX, the sheer beauty had not yet set in. Sure the endless coastlines, the marina and the culture possessed an energy all on its own. An allure that was wonderful right by itself, but it was only at sunset when I discovered the hidden gem that I had landed upon. Just like a scene right out of an oil painting, the sky must be this beautiful every night and the flocks of birds seem to be neverending like the scenes from a coastal town movie. I love it, sometimes I wish I could build me a house over on one of those hills and simply retire. No joke, at the end of each day, it's as if Noah released the birds all over again. Again and again they flock over head, enjoying an abundant due to the never ending supply of water and fish that dwell it this seemingly never ending desert of central Texas.
